Deep-Diving into Testing for Robot Core Components|Yidi Electronics Attends the 2026 Robot Joint Module Technology Innovation Forum
Qingdao Yidi Electronics Co., Ltd. recently attended the 2026 Robot Joint Module Technology Innovation Forum in Hangzhou. The participation aims to keep abreast of the latest developments in the robotics and embodied-intelligence industry, deepen expertise in testing for core robot components, and address existing technical gaps in industrial testing.
Hosted by the 21st Research Institute of CETC and CETC Robot Co., Ltd., the forum brought together research institutions, leading enterprises and upstream-downstream practitioners across the industrial chain. In-depth exchanges were carried out on key topics including technical upgrading of integrated robot joint modules, formulation of industrial standards and industrial implementation.
Held from August 27 to 28 at Wyndham Garden Hangzhou Xixi, the forum themed “Refined Joint R&D · Empower Embodied Intelligence” serves as a highly authoritative industry platform for industry-university-research-application collaboration for robot joint modules in China. With humanoid robots and legged mobile robots developing rapidly toward large-scale commercial deployment, integrated joint modules act as the core power and motion-control components of robot systems. Their transmission accuracy, servo-control stability, structural integration and mass-production consistency directly determine robot operational precision, safety and market roll-out progress. At present, performance testing, reliability validation of core components and the establishment of standardized industrial systems have become major bottlenecks restricting high-quality industrial growth, and are priority challenges for the whole sector.
Benchmark enterprises such as Unitree Robotics, DeepRobotics and Deqing Qianhe Precision, together with specialists from precision transmission, servo drive and quality-testing sectors gathered at the event. Speakers discussed the development of embodied legged robots, technical bottlenecks of humanoid-robot joint modules, reliability-testing solutions and the urgency of standardization. Technical achievements and practical experience were shared covering reducer design & mass-production challenges, technical trends of integrated power modules, inconsistent interface issues, servo-system iteration and mass-quality management. The forum built an efficient channel for technical exchange, resource matching and joint-standard development.
Cutting-edge robot demonstrations were held concurrently. Participants witnessed live demonstrations of new-generation humanoid and quadruped robot prototypes from Unitree Robotics and DeepRobotics. Live displays included walking, jumping and load-bearing stability adjustment. The robots delivered smooth movements, precise posture control and responsive joint performance, demonstrating major advances of domestic integrated joint modules in high-precision servo control, complex dynamic-load adaptation and all-scene motion stability. Yidi’s team gained first-hand insights into the real-world performance of high-end robot core components.
Yidi’s technical team took part in all sessions, absorbing keynote speeches from industry experts and keeping updated on R&D trends, manufacturing difficulties and newly-released testing specifications for joint modules. Focusing on joint-module performance testing, servo-drive electrical-safety testing and comprehensive motor-performance verification, the team held extensive discussions with representatives from the 21st Research Institute of CETC, standard-technical committees, authorized testing laboratories and industrial partners. The team investigated real-world testing requirements for core components and tracked standard-setting progress. Meanwhile, Yidi presented proven technologies and total solutions for robot-joint-module testing. Multiple cooperation models were explored, including end-of-line testing, reliability ageing tests and third-party testing collaboration.
