1、Equipment description

ZK580XC-E series vacuum motor stator comprehensive testing system integrates six testing functions: electrical strength (AC withstand voltage), insulation resistance, inter-turn impact withstand voltage, DC resistance testing, direction testing, and inductance testing. The system uses vacuum negative pressure technology with adjustable vacuum level. The tested item is easier to identify coil defects under negative pressure. 21-inch true color LCD display, unlimited storage of test conditions and results, USB storage interface for easy data copying, user-friendly interface, Windows operating system, professional control software, simple and clear interface, high precision, high efficiency. It is an essential testing device for motor manufacturers and quality inspection departments.

2、Basic Knowledge of Inspection Items

Insulation resistance testing: Insulation resistance reflects the performance of insulating materials. This item can assess the insulation performance of the tested object, moisture or contamination of insulation, mainly measuring the insulation resistance between coils and the iron core or between coils.

AC/DC withstand voltage testing: Also known as electrical strength testing, it confirms whether to perform AC or DC withstand voltage testing based on the power environment of the tested product. By applying continuous high voltage exceeding the rated voltage between coil turns, between coils and the iron core, it verifies whether the energized parts have breakdown phenomena. During testing, the insulation parts of the tested product endure abnormal stress, quickly revealing short circuits, breakdowns, or arcing.

DC resistance testing: Measures the DC resistance of winding coils to detect short circuits, broken wires, or turn differences.

Inter-turn testing: Measures high-voltage oscillation waveforms of coils to calculate the parameters of the tested coil and compare with standard coils, determining coil quality. Inter-turn testing under negative pressure makes coil defects easier to detect.

Inter-turn area: Calculates the area enclosed by the waveform of the standard part and the tested part around the zero point line, compares the differences, expressed as a percentage.

Inter-turn difference product: Calculates the ratio of the area enclosed by the waveform of the standard part and the tested part to the standard waveform area, to assess waveform overlap.

Reverse embedding test: Used to measure the winding direction of motor windings.

Magnetic rotation test: Measures the phase relationship between the main and auxiliary phases of the motor stator to infer the rotation direction of the motor.
